What is really happening in Atoms

Probably not a good attempt to explain quantum mechanics and get away from the crude concrete models of school. If I keep on trying in this area I might get better at it.

Dirac Spinors

Honestly the worst podcast of the maths behind spin up and down, matter and antimatter. Part of crashing though understanding rather than faking it all. My appologies, so hard to think through. Dirac was bloody brillant, I am just getting to see what the group theory aspect of it all.

Protein Proxy for DNA

When it is too old for DNA, a lot of information can be extracted from reverse engineering proteins as a proxy for DNA.

Usefully limited

I have beeon struck by how when new knowledge is made avaliable with Cern, Higgs, gravity waves society stays with the igorance that has become so familiar. It is like unlocking the cage doors at a zoo, and the animals within, have spent so many many generations inside they no longer think about what it would be like to be outside.
