The Great Scientists_5

I really feel that they have misrepresented Faraday, and have definitely not understood that Faraday's lines of force are at the end of day folk and bogus science. The demon of poor school teaching has effected the authors and like a virus infecting generations. The real story of Faraday is fascinating. I did find it interesting though finding out details of his mental decline. I am so pleased to have read about Pasteur and did not realise that he did so much of his work so much later in life. It is really interesting to see that Pasteur was affected by stroke and could not access his old laboratories that required to enter them on his knees. There are lots of shards of information that help build a big picture. His cure of Rabies is just extraordinary with 200 dying or the 20, 000 that came to him for help.
