Icons a toxic education medicine

I had real qualms about using Icons, sort of trade names as conceptual placeholders to build explanations. I had the Peterverse and Hilliverse to set key scales with which to understand the universe. When I researched the origin of significant conceptual errors in the HSC (final school year statewide exams) I unearthed a weird phantom understanding based on perceived personalities. I tell the story of Hitler carrying around a picture of Frederick the Great in an era that had gone icon mad. Probably all to conceptual for a podcast, but there you go.
