New Scientist May 25_1

Morrison Government and old grey people and cultures using more green house gases. A dubious story on carbon recapture by bacteria which failed to explain why you would not simply use plants. The use of tools by chimps is indeed and interesting insight discussion as to why we were so boring for 2 000 000 years in making the same tool over and over. There is the speculative Chinese super material

We get into the critics of Hegel, and this is genuinely the most entertaining sledging I have learnt in a long time. Then there is reading on Dialectics that are really the wisdom of cavemen, and I can now see it as the funkie logic of Aquinas.. A divine read mind you. His quotes are rather dull, Seneca at least where entertaining.

Getting into the actual philosophy. My insight is that as a teacher he aimed to make something in an unteachable state teachable and came up with a system that did not need critical analysis to churn out results. Those are just my feelings.

Philosophy who needs it

In this podcast I am actually focused on walking the Glenbrook Gorge with 6 kg of additional weight. On any account I reason that people use philosophy for different reasons in different situation. Taking ready made philosophy of the shelf can lead to absurd parody of reason. I see it sitting at a higher level above Policy, which is above, Procedure, and above Process and thus key to guiding practical progression.

Floating Carbon

A brief podcast while driving about giving a carbon floating on magnets demo for the local Member of Parliment. Some interesting pointers on physics and prototype development.

Listen to this to see the building blocks of communism fall into place. Yet another school teacher making up history that has lead to making history.

The Amazing Story of Sydney

The first British Governor was a recycled naval officer with poor dental health, it meant that he lost a front tooth... a sign you had passed a painful initiation rite. This and other mind bending stories.

Arthur Schopenhauer_2_

I find it amazing to see him dabble in maths. Some crazy views but some logical adjustments of them given evidence. I feel sorry for anyone in the 19th century with so many horrible people about.
