Wonders of the Night Sky_37 -38

Well there is a point to being in the Northern Hemisphere, you get to look out along our spiral arm in the Cygnas (Swan) star group. The LMC and SMC are just so familiar, but I was really interested to hear about the Tarantula nebula. No one ever told me it was outside the Milky Way. The orbits of the Magellanic clouds being 4 billion years was also interesting to lock away as a fact.
