"Sir, we want the full unsimplified Science" - Science is maths in English

"Sir, we want the full unsimplified Science"

This is my Year 9 science class request.

I realize I substitute familiar words first for a concept and gradually introduce the scientific term.

  1. Having a deep knowledge of certain fields I realize the words are English pronumerals for an essentially mathematical concept.  Only over time have we absorbed the word into the vernacular

This is very true of Newtons three laws, Why three? Descartes had three, basically covering the same area with out the need for God.  Yes in fact Newton works with God, and in fact Newton believed these to be God's laws.  This conveniently tied up a lot of loose ends
