This is the authors strong point, he seems to have read so much that I loose interest in so quickly. Again it is masterful how he picks an author who uses the full range of imagery, then looks at people who explore select aspects. The emphasis on sexual metaphor may be nowadays diluted in our overly and under sexualized society. Ultimately we have to say some of these people are stark raving mad.
