I am also a little disappointed that Cepheid stars are not explained as it really glues all this understanding together.
I really have to take my hat of to this author who is a professional publisher. He tracks how the publishing decision to produce a soft porn bible complete with Usher's world date from the bible is such a beautiful insight. We have Cambridge University publishing Usher bibles until 1910. How do you get monopoly to print bibles, surely this has to be out of copyright.
