Reading into this book, I am struck as to where is the required analysis and scientific understanding one would need to have a balance perspective. I was going to introduce Kepler's laws but I try to dissect exactly what is going on. The academic process that would have prodded this in the direction of a deeper explanation has been suspended. I am also cynical about the reality of academic review had it actually happened and think on balance it is likely to have sucked the life blood out of this book.
