Planning for Heart Quiz lesson

Much to my surprise at lot of common knowledge about the heart and the circulation system is folk knowledge. This is a kind way of saying it is technically incorrect, but the misinformation has become part of the way we do business.

Now I wasn't looking to find incorrect information, but with a heart operation and building video tutorials about it errors shone through the cultural haze. Initially it was little things like having to zoom through the back of a digital body to get to the left side of the heart, because it is in reality not on the left. It is hard to ignore the additional chamber of the heart that no one talks about .... the auricles .... because you have to lift them up to get to the bypass site. Then in cardiac rehab the plastic teaching heart had shrunk these aberrant chambers so that they were plastic handles to lift up the covering of the atrium chambers to which they are connected. You can imagine the puzzlement as everyone else cruised on through.

So up to this time my dirty secret of having a heart that corresponds to reality, was buried deep inside. Everyone else was partying away with a folk heart and chit chatting about various clever ways of getting ahead with folk knowledge. I began with no particular agenda to knock over reality data points, perhaps a pattern would emerge. It certainly would be in dimensions and space well beyond the folk society.

The circulation system would not work as put in the diagrams. I had built the gas delivery systems for eximer lasers and this involved toxic gases that you definitely didn't want travelling the wrong way. So at the end of the day, I was running on eight chambers, and six valves, a total aberration of the traditional four chambers and four valves.

So by and by we come to making a synthetic quiz. It is the flagship of a system built on more efficient delivery of information and absorbing the quality of expert oversight in its inception. Much like a ship that slips slides down from its dry dock into the harbour, much work and fitting and sea trials await. If you imagine questions as a kind of ammunition you have to range the shots and group them, not so much as to hit a target but project a zone of strategic control. This effect is not generated by natural talent, or using the correct brand of commercial product; it is generated the interplay of ideas in the war room where concepts are positioned around targets.

So the system operates at a higher level but this higher level needs that war room. However the war room needs an intelligence picture that is relevant but also comprehensive so that it leverages the complete picture. This is where, after much typing practice, the recon podcast comes in. Recon is a process itself, and in this case it is done by re-purposing a routine walk and talk. However the brief here is to identify the truly significant insights that when delivered will allow the listener to access new knowledge.
